Here you have a sneak pick of how I begin two of my Nature-Mandala-Pattern. These are my latest pieces. I'm really enjoying this new style from beginning to end!!!
...and I'm pleased to say they are already available as Archival Prints at my Shop.
This will be my last post until the end of October. I'm off tomorrow with Andrew and Camila to Kuala Lumpur and then Brisbane. Little brake for the girls, work for the guy.
Hopefully I will be doing some travel journaling using my favorite travel sketching kit.
See you soon!
i adore your paintings!
ReplyDeleteI love your recent paintings, Maria.
ReplyDeleteDo you ever have trouble getting the colours to be true in your prints? Sometimes I have to adjust so much in Photoshop. It makes me a little crazy. I have an Epson R1900.
Have a lovely break!
Kathleen I have an Epson R2000 and I have fund that if I use the Fabriano Watercolor paper the colors are dull. I'm using the Epson Velvet Fine Art for the prints and white card stock for the cards, I only have a little trouble with the pinks. I heave the settings so the printer manage the colors. I'm in Kuala Lumpur now but when I get home I can tell you the exact settings I use if you want
DeleteThat would be great, Maria. Hope you are enjoying your trip.
DeleteKathleen, I just sent you an email.
DeleteMaria, your current series of work is so beautiful, I would love to own them all!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a wonderful time in Kuala Lumpur, and hope to see some of your journal pages on Travel & Art when you return...
Thank you Gill! I'm really enjoying this new style.
DeleteI'm sorry I haven't been around much but I've had a very busy and difficult year. I'm getting back to my journaling now and will post my travel journal pages on Travel and Art ASAP.
